Civita is a small Municipality created in XV century by groups of organized albanese migrants running out of their homeland invaded by the Ottomans. Now they are included among the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”, are plunged into one of the most beautiful valleys of the Pollino massif  and into the canyon of Raganello. Even now they  preserve the language, the religion, the traditions, the social organization  of the land of origin and offer a full immersion into their wealthy heritage.
