Panevėžys city municipality administration is a non-profit budgetary organisation which is organised and managed in accordance to laws of Republic of Lithuania. Most important task of Administration is implementing public administration, promoting administrational skills of civil servants, increasing the efficiency of applied practices. Administration is currently responsible for: Organisation and control of implementing decisions made by municipality’s institutions, within territory of municipality. Implementing law and government’s decisions, which do not require verification from Panevėžys municipality council. Organising and controlling municipality’s estate usage. Administrating provision of public services. Preparing decisions of institutions of city’s municipality and decree projects. During the years 2007-2013 Administration of Panevėžys city Municipality has implemented over 43 different projects funded by EU structural funds, with total budget of 27 million EUR.
