Koreja works in the field of theatrical production and promotion of cultural events since 1985. Its permanent staff is composed of 15 people and its annual budget is about € 800.000-1.000.000. During 30 years, Koreja has worked with many international and national organizations and has run several theatre sea sons and festivals, looking for quality and innovation. Furthermore, Koreja organizes workshops and training courses for youngsters and adults and is responsible for many initiatives of promotion of tangible/ intangible heritage. Since 2002, Koreja has been involved in EU projects funded by various cultural programmes (Culture2000, Pilot projects) or territorial cooperation programmes (INTERREG, IPA), as lead applicant, co-applicant or on behalf of public institutions, developing a wide network of contacts in Greece and in the Balkan area. Koreja would like to take part in projects in the field of performing arts, for co-productions, organization of events and creation of networks.
