The Association Malalingua was born in 2010 in Rome: it arose from the wish of three theatre professionals to create a new association thought and structured in order to foster and nurture the contemporary dram aturgy and theatre culture. Since 2011 Malalingua has been operating both in Rome and in Molfetta (Ba, Puglia): in 2014 Molfetta became the legal head office of the association. In the last years Malalingua has been playing a growing role in the cultural landscape thanks to Marco Grossi and Marianna de Pinto’s work: they are both professional actors graduated from Silvio D’Amico Academy. Malalingua long-time activity in promoting, nurturing and spreading the theatre culture has been (and keep on) consisting of initiatives in the field of education, production and distribution of theatre performances, festivals and events and collaborations with many associations and educational institutions inside the regional territory.
