The Forum delle Associazioni familiari was founded in 1992 with this aims:

promotion and safeguarding of the values and rights of the family as  "natural society founded on marriage; support for the active and responsible participation of the families in cultural, social and political debate; support to human promotion initiatives and personal services, through different forms of association; promotion of adequate family policies directed to protect and support the functions of the family and its rights, as set out in the Charter of the Family Rights of the Holy See (1983).
