012  Factory  is  the  first  Italian  "Contamination  Center"  (to contaminate  in  the  sense  of  providing  a  space where  ideas,  knowledge,  skills  and  cultural  intelligence  can  flow  freely  and  influence  all  actors  within  that space)  promoting  and  supporting  innovative,  entrepreneurial  enterprises. The organisation has a  unique vision  for developing entrepreneurship and is distinguished  from conventional entrepreneurial centres by a holistic approach combining knowledge, skills, experiences and cultural intelligence. This innovative strategy has  already  caught  the  attention  of policy  makers,  universities  and  businesses  in  the  region,  after  only  11 months  012 Factory  can boast  the Google Developers Group, Microsoft  Bizspark and Economisti D'Impresa amongst  its growing  list  of  partners.  012  Factory's  increasing  reputation  is  also  demonstrated  by  the  TEDx event it will host next year. Currently there are 30 young entrepreneurs taking part in the 012 Academy which prioritises gender balance  (60% of participants are women) with 4 incubated Start-Ups and 2 Patents under evaluation. 012 Factory is also strongly inspired by Europe and  the benefits which awareness of business at the European-level brings to entrepreneurs and the organisation.
