The Kompetere Economic Studies and Research Association was founded on 12 June 2006. The initiative stems from the strong desire to ensure the presence of an intellectual, social, economic and financial space at the service of the development of South Italy. The collaboration with public and private bodies also allows an institutional contact with the territory and with the economic and social realities. The association, thanks to its internal expertise, manages to be present in several areas, all with the aim of improving society and the economy of Southern Italy in particular:• Organization of events and conferences;• Compilation and printing of brochures;• Research and study on important personalities in the history of southern Italy;• Consultancy and technical assistance to public and private bodies with a strong expertise on European funds;• Collaboration with universities and schools;• Technical assistance and collaboration with public and private bodies, both national and international, involved in educational activities.The Association also carries out publishing activities on the Kompetere Journal webzine. Founded in 2006, the magazine is edited by valid journalists who write journalistic articles, conduct surveys, produce videos and promote events.
