Valbrevenna is a small mountain village (600 inhabitants, altitude 500 m) which suffered a strong depopulation, but today it can rely on its natural and environmental resources for tourism and economic revival. The Municipality has no experience of European projects but collaborates with one enterprises network (www.genovatornainvilla.net) to carry out an Interreg Italy-France Maritime project which aims to develop and network sustainable and slow forms of tourism.
