Hilly hills, of medieval origin; Has an economy based mainly on agriculture and animal husbandry. The territory has an irregular geometric profile, with highly accentuated altimetric variations ranging from a minimum of 65 to a maximum of 766 meters above sea level. The inhabited area, which is interested in building expansion, has retained much of the original medieval nucleus, dominated by the Malaspina Castle, from which it enjoys an extraordinary panoramic view.
