The “Fondazione Genti d'Abruzzo Onlus” is a no profit Foundation, which runs the "Museo delle Genti d'Abruzzo" with the support of Town Council of Pescara and others public and private associations and institutions.The "Museo delle Genti d'Abruzzo" is an antropological museum and traces the history of Abruzzo's people from the Old Sone Age until the Industrial Revolution. It highlights the continuity of the culture preserved through the centuriesOne of the main aims of the Foundation is to give an useful support for the development of knowledge, understanding and awareness of history and cultural heritage.The Educational Centre of the Genti d'Abruzzo Foundation conceives and carries out all educational activities linked to the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions of the Museo delle Genti d'Abruzzo, such as interactive guided tours, experimental workshops, hands-on activities, for a wide range of target (children, students, families, tourists, disabled citizens, the elderly). All these activities include the use of new technologies and emotional involvment.
