Cesenatico, 26,000 inhabitants, is situated in Emilia-Romagna on the Adriatic Sea. Its main sources are tourism, fishing and restaurants. With its 7 km of sandy shore, it is particularly suited for tourism of  families with children. Equipments for all kind of sport activities are available, high tourist hospitality with more than 300 hotels. Cesenatico is the birthplace of Marco Pantani, unforgettable cyclist champion, where it's possible to visit a permanent Exhibiton dedicated to him. Along the harbour, planned in 1502 by Leonardo da Vinci, is located the Maritime Musem with its floating ancient boats.  In the historical center other cultural places are present, i.e. the Municipal Art Gallery and the  family house (now a museum house) of Marino Moretti, an important  poet and writer of 19th century.
You can reach Cesenatico easily by plane (Bologna and Rimini Airport), by train (Cesenatico and Cesena Railway Station) and by car (Highway A14 exit Cesena).
