Felceaf (Italian Federation of Family Guidance Centres) was founded on 22th October 1975 and it represents a consortium of 50 northern Italian family Guidance Centres. It aims to promote the development and coordination of advisory or guidance centers focusing its attention on domestic violence, prevention of abuse and family protection issues. The Federation organizes workshops, courses and meetings for advisory centre staff. Felceaf works closely with schools, parishes and educational bodies in Lombardy, drawing on over 40 years of experience gathered training staff in a selection of fields from emotional and sexual health care to parental support. The Region of Lombardy has recognized Felceaf centers as advice centers which provide a variety of services such as medical, social, health and prevention assistance. The National Health system reimburses Felceaf for the health and social services provided due to a covenant signed by the public authority with this federation. Staff Team Felceaf has a highly-skills staff composed of psychologists, educational psychologists, gynecologists, social workers, and lawyers who have gathered a vast experience through their work in the advice centers. Activities Felceaf provides these type of services: - Health and prevention education; - Listening, consultation, support; - Psychological support in education; - Promotion of parental care.
